today is also another day where another of my close friend leaves....the third this year! She's leaving tomorrow for Singapore. Got ASEAN scholarship, smart girl!

so, when i manage to clear disk drive C and upload the pics, the coming updates will be:

I just came back from my ballet exam grade 7 and i skipped school too..hee xD

Everything went ok except for my character part...i lost balanced and nearly fell

BUT, that's not the worst part!!

My character shoe came off halfway!!! ahh! while i was dancing! so i had to pause and put it back and continued dancing!...what an embarrassment!

Sorry for the lack of updates......but here's one though!!

What I did during the CNY hols....

well, van came to my house and she played sthing called mahjong on "viwawa.com"?

then we played Alpha Attack on my computer

then we went for a swim at my aunt's place in batu ferringhi (eden seaview)

Hey ppl!

This post is dedicated to one of my best-est friend, Charlene Cheah.

On the 30th of December, she and her 3 other siblings waited at the airport with a whole big group of church friends and relatives to send them off...

Their flight was at 4 and we were there around 2 something, talking and treasuring the last few moments with her cos it'll be a really long time till i'm going to see her again.

And before that, I thought i was gonna cry like crazy! But I didn't, surprisingly. She didn't cry either. I think she was also happy to go which is a good thing..i nearly cried too!

so, i made a present for her, as you can see in the pictures below.. hope she'll like it....

well, she actually opened it up at the airport. it is actually really messy when she opened it [i did it the night before..] but when she managed to sort it out...hehe....tadaaaaa!

Ppl anticipating on the post...why I love super junior?? will have to wait!... cos i'll be posting on the christmas eve party on the 24th dec [duh!!] somewhere near my house...vanessa, samantha, eunice, joshua and me were the only kids there...so i took a few pics of that moment... and before the party started, the whole pearl hill including the lower houses had no electricity! so the party was partially in the dark...haha...what a party right?

Have been seriously busy with cheer, and not forgetting Cheer Jam..which, thanks to it, I got like, 5 places of muscle aches and pains?? well, it wasn't only me..AND because I was lazy, i decided NOT to take my camera and I didn't take any pictures [obviously!]. Gold Coast, Australia trip '08

Hello ppl!..This is the much awaited update [by Vanessa]....so Van, here it is....

This trip wasn't the most enjoyable one with the blazing sun in the sweltering heat and the little percentage of boredom, no mood for theme parks and comparing the size of the theme parks to others...which is comparatively smaller than Disneyland...

But oh well..Thanks to the shopping that made up the little percentage of boredom! We spent quite and amount of money on shopping [esp. my bro] than the other trips. With the currency exchange rate of RM 2.40 for $1, it wasn't THAT bad...

I WAS happy [with much emphasis] with shopping cause I bought a much-awaited sling bag for $20, not that bad eh?

Well, here comes the bit-by-bit of what happened during the trip. If you're NOT interested in reading [you know who you are - you might not be reading this anyway!], then kindly proceed to the pictures..instead of torturing yourself and over-straining your eyes, whoever you are!

Woke up seriously EARLY in the morning, around 4, to get ready...Surprisingly I managed to wake up with only just 1 call from my mum. I usually need LOADS before I can wake up for school xD. Anyway, poor mum got only 3 hours of sleep because she packed till 1 in the morning before she could sleep....I was so afraid that I won't be able to wake up in time cause I couldn't sleep the night before [fell asleep while counting sheep]...Heh...

Went to the airport, check-in the luggage, eat at McD!...Yes, Nandos has been replaced by the 24-hour-opened McDonalds..I prefer McD to Nandos...Ate the bfast set, went through security, board the plane and slept in the 50 minute-journey to KLIA

YAY! McD at Penang Airport!

Came down, sat the aerotrain to the other terminal, rushed to the gate, boarded the plane and slept for only 3 hours in the 7 hour and 30 minute journey to Sydney Airport, reached Sydney as transit passengers, reboarded the plane, sat for an hour and 10 minutes in the plane, reached Brisbane Airport, went through immigration and security, sat the van for ANOTHER hour trip to Gold Coast....FINALLY reached the hotel, prepared to sleep and KO-ed...

Got up with much difficulty the next day due to the oh-so-long-and-tiring journey from Penang, ate the delicious buffet bfast and went to Sea World....Between that, I took some pictures of the view from our hotel balcony and our room...

We were supposed to stay here - Paradise Resort - but unfortunately it was full

Oh ya! Did I forget to mention that our hotel was just a stone's throw away from Hard Rock Cafe?? Can you see the red guitar in the pic above? [right at the bottom of the pic]

Finally at Sea World

Honestly, I feel kinda silly...you wanna know why? In the news back home, it said that Sydney, Brisbane and some other places are having thunderstorms although it's currently summer there. So, we brought umbrellas, and raincoats just in case...But the van driver that drove us to Gold Coast told us that the weather forecast says that it will be good weather till Thurs which is forecasted to be cloudy and maybe a little bit of drizzle...

So, I feel kinda silly wearing long-sleeved shirts and jeans/long pants without cap nor sunblock while other ppl are wearing swimsuits, bikinis, spaghetti stripes with shorts and sun umbrellas and applying sunblock on their bodies....i really feel silly!

this is so SAD!...this board talks about how ppl catch sharks and cut off their fins [for sharks fin soup..esp. for the chinese - they're valuable] and just leave them on the beach side to die!..I know we chinese ppl love sharks fin soup..I'm 1 of them. But I think that sharks are pitiful though ppl think of them as man-eating sharks [though they are] and making ppl fear them even more with movies like Jaws....

THIS is what we ate for lunch that day...so unappetizing...no offense, but every theme park i go they have mostly this only, no wonder ppl there are obes!...and the fries there are extra fat!..like slightly bigger than the diameter of your thumb. And the thing that makes me mad the most is this: we had to pay an extra 50 cents just to have a sauce for the price [which is provided with in Msia!] and a dollar for refill [which is free at some places in msia]...what the??

The next day, we went to Paradise Country Farm..from the word farm, you know that we went to some sort of mini zoo...it was a half day trip...

this brings me to the teenagers of gold coast...they can just walk in the cold and windy streets in just bikinis and shorts and walking barefooted!..well, i can really see how differrent their culture is from ours! they can just wear their clothes 1st and when they reach the beach only take it off??

Well, the last day, we went shopping at Harbour Town...Saw lots of branded stuff there. AND>>>I saw a really nice checked shorts in Billabong!!!AH!! I really wanted it [it was too nice d]..but after looking at the price....hmmm...was TOO expensive..didn't want to waste money..it was $49.90 like dat lar...which is RM100++ in msia...yeah i know...it isn't worth having a RM100++ shorts when i can't fit into it when i'm all grown up..[well maybe for rich ppl maybe they will....]

And i bought my sling bag too!!!!!!haha..xD..was really happy then!

And after that was all waiting and waiting and waiting AND WAITING!!arghh!!!..well then, went to the airport and waited again and ate noodle box!! the box was really cute!!

then they gave this to me wen i ordered the coke...hardly see this glass coke bottle anymore huh?...it's an antique already!...

On wednesday,

I put my alarm 7.30 but we snooze and snooze till 8.45 like dat. The JYR '08 commitee had a post-mortem at around 9.30 and it was supposed to be at Leader Garden's swimming pool. But plans changed due to some ppl who didn't bring their swim suits and can't swim.

So we ended up at Khaleel to eat our bfast and had our post-mortem too.

After that, me and Van were so bored in the house that we decided to go swimming and we brought Kelly along too...[I din swim, just had a dip]

Junior Youth Retreat 2008

Recently, many things happen altogether at once, but it will leave memories and experiences i'll never ever forget!

On the 17th-19th November, my church youth, Firebrands, had a camp: Junior Youth Retreat 2008...I was the organizer and it was seriously so much fun!

I'm already missing JYR which i bet you've heard from me a gezillion times =D....But it was the BEST JYR I had! Out of the 3 years I have been to JYR!

Haha..Anyway,

A little synopsis,

This camp was in the Air Itam Dam Team Building Centre...And it's like practically in a jungle! So, there were like thousands of different insects including ants [not to mention BIG ones], lizards, rain flies [lotsa them!], mosquitoes and many others i might not have seen before [eeek!]

The worst part is....It has been raining 2 nights already, so you can imagine how much [yes, MUCH] rain flies you can see near white lights....

AND...I had to survive that 3 days and 2 nights with....COLD WATER!!!! Freezing cold water. And only 1 dorm has a heater! I shivered everyday after each morning bath!

It was also a HILL, so it was quite cold already + we had aircond...which thanks to the coldness and God, the people in my dorm were able to wake up in time...thanks to Tan Yi Wen! who woke up exactly at the right time because she was cold due to the aircond....

Haha...Praise the Lord!

On the 1st night itself was already good, cause after worship, Pastor Victor came to pray for us girls and some of us cried!...And typically - boys do not cry!....

and the best thing was, on the 18th morning, Nat, Van and Joey came up to me and wished me 'Happy Birthday'....and Nat left a little card on my bed...awww...thanks so much sis!

The best part was....after the oh-so-tiring station games, we had only half an hour to bathe! Not much time and since I was the organizer...I was thin king.."hmmm, maybe if I'm late it'll be ok. So I'll let my dorm-mates who are participants bathe 1st...

In the end, I went out to the corridor and asked for available toilets because I didn't wanna be too late too...And then, while looking down to the ground floor...Guess who I saw?

Yes...My brother and his gang...I was so shocked! i didn't expect them to come! My mum came too...And at that point..I totally forgotten it w as my birthday, so I was shocked lar...

I then finally found an available toilet [Nat's dorm] and started bathing...I thought they had all started to eat dinner and I didn't rush myself to quickly bathe...After coming out, Nat was there and I asked:

Me: Hey, what are you doing here? They all started eating dinner already ar?

Nat: Oh..Pastor ask me to come up and see you..And they didn't start eating yet cause we're all waiting for you....

Me: Really? Oh my gosh! Ask the m to eat 1st lar

Nat: It's ok lar, all of us not that hungry and P astor also say that must wait for everyone before eating...Anyway, I go down 1st ya...

Me: [being totally CLUELESS] Oh, ok lar...

I was the last one! they were all waiting for me, therefore, i hurried like mad and didn't have time to comb my hair! Then, just as i was about to come out, the people below started chanting "Cheryl, Cheryl, Cheryl, Cheryl"

Still rushing, and still totally clueless..I shouted back "COMING!"

As I ran down the stairs, Pastor Victor, at the foot of the steps called me to wait..Then, from that point on, I knew what was it already..I just didn't expec ted it lar! they sang Happy Birthday...

Thanks you guys! and thanks to mummy for bringing the food and buying the cake!

Hey guys!

I finally got my lazy fingers to the keyboard and butt to the computer chair to update my blog...

here goes!

I am somehow fascinated by the sunset...

It's just...breathtaking...I love the sunset scenery...

God mentioned about love many times in the Bible...And now look what's happened to the world? Suicide bombings, terrorism, bombings, wars, crime and all sorts!

Isn't it heart wrenching?

The world now is full of hatred. We must forgive and forget...Just like how God forgave our sins because He loved us soooo much and how He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth and to take the burden of all the sins in the world on Jesus' shoulders alone because He wants to forgive our sins and so that we will not suffer eternal death...

Therefore, LOVE one another people!....

Ghost Whisperer

YES!

I started watching ghost whisperer season 2 and I was so stuck with the show I continued on to watching this in season 3....

Many people doesn't dare to watch because it is GHOST whisperer. The thing is

I AM SCARED TOO!

It's usually the beginning that's scary, but later on in the episode, the "ghost" will turn back to normal and not those scary scary faces and stuff...

Particularly yesterday [4/11] that episode [episode 315-Horror Show] was super scary!!

WAHHH!

It talks about 1 girl, Kylie who is haunted by this "ghost" called Toby...They even added the real ghost movies like 'Chucky' and 'The Exorcist'. I mean not real real but it's like the "ghost" is haunting her like a talking doll, flies attack and graveyard scenes and all...

Boy, all the hair on my stood man! I myself am afraid of ghost movies and I don't know why I like Ghost Whisperer....[maybe because it has a better ending than other ghost movies]
